Suvidya soars high

The number of students this year at Suvidya College, both Home and Day-scholars, has soared to an all-time high of 292. Besides the MSFS, the College also admits students from several other religious congregations, some of which have opened their Study Houses in the vicinity of Suvidya College. Suvidya also renders its service to the diocesan students.

  

 

Since 2004 Suvidya has been admitting religious sisters for courses in philosophy. During their study, the students will do either a three-year degree course in philosophy with B.A. or two-year degree course in philosophy (only for those who have completed their university graduation). The courses are organized in the form of lectures, discussions, seminars and scientific papers. With its exhaustive collection, the Suvidya Library promises to be a resort for students, professors and anybody and everybody interested in philosophy. More than 21,000 tides covering over 30 subtopics occupy the Suvidya Library racks, besides around 50 periodicals. The fully-computerized Library with its spacious reference room provides a very conducive atmosphere for research and study.
