Charis Bhavan at Athirampuzha, Kerala, India, continues to be a Centre for religious renewal in the new Millennium. True to the original vision of our Founder Fr. Peter Mermier, Charis Bhavan team continues the mission-preaching, making the Word of God alive, bringing renewal, conversion and healing in the lives of thousands of people. The new block of Charis Bhavan just blessed on September 15, 2004, by Rev. Fr. Jose Parappillil MSFS, Provincial of South-west Province, is a Centre for family counselling and spiritual direction - two specialized ministries along with the charismatic renewal retreats.  On July 25, 2004, a home for senior citizens and retired missionaries - "Charis Nikethan", a haven for the abandoned and the marginalized - was also blessed and inaugurated.
