Pope Benedict XVI inaugurated the spiritual mission and vision of his Petrine ministry on Sunday 24, April 2005. It was as remarkable and resonant as with the memories of his magnificent investiture ceremony. The Holy Father called the world to rediscover its spirituality and made a plea to humanity to escape the desert of poverty, of hunder and thirst, of abandonment, of loneliness and destroyed love.
