St Francis De Sales School, Nimkheda, 1 km away from Tuman Village and 45 km from Nagpur, India, a cherished project of Fr Valerian Gomes and a long-felt need of the people of the locality, fully supported by the Sisters of St Joseph of Annecy, was inaugurated and blessed by Rev. Fr Joseph Pulloppillil, msfs, the Provincial of Nagpur Province, on April 2, 2005. The master-plan of the school envisages a full-fledged Senior Secondary School on a larger campus.
