It is a challenge for the Family of Bacher from Augsburg, Germany! Mr. Rainer Bacher (in photo extreme right) is totally blind. He is a trained teacher for the mentally disabled and blind. Also his wife Grabriele is trained to assist the blind and disabled. Realizing the great need to uplift the condition of the visually impaired people in Tanzania, and responding whole heartedly to that need, they are here to set up possibilities for the blind to be self reliant.

In collaboration with the Fransalians, they will be working in Tabora, Tanzania. This enterprise will be one of the sections of Foster (Fransalian Organization for social transformation, Education and Renewal). The Project is partially supported by Afrika Aktion e.V.; Federal Republic of Germany; Swiss Miva and many people of good will.
