Salesian Quotes for the month
The
spirituality of St.
Francis de Sales
is a “Spirituality
of the Heart,”
relevant today as in
the time of St.
Francis de Sales
himself - an
all-embracing,
Down-to-earth
Spirituality for
everyone.

Brasil
The Province of Brazil is small in
number but is rendering service to a
large catholic community. This community
consists of various races, languages and
colours. The blend of these differences
makes it more beautiful but also more
difficult and demanding.
The geographic extension of the country
is thrice the extension of India. It has
a great economic potential but the
magnitude of corruption and
disorganization impedes its development
and growth. It has been stated in one of
the most popular weekly magazines (Veja)
that if half the money that has been
diverted through fraud and corruption
would have been distributed to the
people, Brazil would never have
encountered itself as it is today.
